Workshop 3: Researching Your Historic Home

Have you been curious about the history of your home but just don’t know where to begin researching? Or would you like to apply for a Historic Plaque from Preservation Durham but don’t know how to get the ball rolling? Well Heather Slane of HMW Preservation is an expert at architectural history and will be on hand to identify all the resources required.  She will cover sources such as State Historic Preservation Office Files, Online County Tax Records, City Directories, County Deed Records and more.
