Step into History - Mangum Street Mansions

Many successful businessmen and professionals built homes along Mangum Street, only a short commute from Downtown after the street car line opened in 1901. The Queen Anne style Manning House in the 900 block was one of the first mansions built on the street, and styles changed as building moved northward, through the Colonial Revival to the Crafstman-Prairie style of the Elliott-Ferrell House in the 1200 block.
