Distinctive, asymmetrical two-story weatherboard late Queen Anne Victorian built in 1910 located in historic Old North Durham. The house is identified as a "contributing property" in the North Durham/Duke Park National Register Historic District making it eligible for renovation tax credits. A very steep hip roof in the main body of the house is featured with a centrally located chimney with elaborate brickwork and Victorian fireplaces. The front gable peak has a sunburst motif on the bargeboard. The grand foyer has a central wooden staircase and hardwood floors cover much of the house. The 9-room house is divided into four apartments. However, it can easily be returned to a single-family home. Recent renovations include a new roof and HVAC systems. The area has a very active neighborhood association.
